Sick Visits
Dr. Bear understands that illness or injury can happen at the most inconvenient of times, making life difficult for busy families! We try to make life a little easier for you by offering flexible online scheduling, same or next day sick visits for most concerns, and quick and direct access to your child’s physician.
You will be met with compassionate, prompt care to diagnose, treat, and comfort your child, ensuring swift return to health and happiness. As an expert pediatrician, Dr. Bear follows an evidence based medicine approach. As a parent, Dr. Bear offers practical and easy to follow advice. Included in your membership, we offer all routine point of care testing in our office. We can see your child in the office, or if appropriate, from the comfort of your own home through telemedicine.
Dr. Bear is available to help walk you through urgent matters that arise after hours.
All members are provided with an after hours phone line with direct access to our doctor. We can do simple procedures such as minor lacerations in the office too! We save the emergency room for just that – emergencies!
Is your child sick while you are out of town? This is no problem for our members. Because Dr. Bear knows your child personally, she is able to provide video visits and if appropriate, can arrange prescriptions to be called in for you electronically. She can also help refer you to a local direct care pediatrician or appropriate facility if you need an in person evaluation.
